- Resources are also referred to as:
- document (to emphasize that it is human readable)
- object (to emphasize that it is something which is more machine readable in nature or has hidden state)
- Resources,
when you retrieve them, do not stand simply by themselves without explanation,
but there is information about the resource
- Information about information
is generally known as Metadata
