Reformulation of HTML 4.01 as an XML Application
- Better integration with other, XML based specs (MathML, SMIL, SVG, etc)
- Final separation of style and content
- Better, more robust implementations
Why doing it (Ie, why not rely on XML only)?
- HTML has a large and useful set of semantics
- The tags are already known
- Why reinvent the wheel?
